保护金具主要用于减少架空电力线路导线、避雷线的振动幅度，以及 330kV 以上线路和变电所绝缘子串的均压屏蔽等，如防振锤、间隔棒、均压屏蔽环等。
产品型号字母的意义为：
M- 母线 R- 软导线 F- 防护、封头 Y- 预绞丝 D- 导线
J- 间隔、均压 Z- 终端、阻尼 Q- 球绞 G- 钢绞线
防振锤、间隔棒线夹与导线连接时 . 应根据使用情况可在导线外缠铝包带。
